Causing Pain

I know you're there for me,
I know he's not,
But I can't help myself,
I'm about to rot

Chorus
I'll die of agony,
Hold on to me,
Don't let me fall,
I will soon see

I'm fallin down,
You're keeping me allright,
But I'm resisting you,
I breakin what's already tight

I need to be gone,
And rid you of the pain you're feeling,
You say it's ok,
That you're already healing

Chorus

Bridge
In a world as nice as this,
Where do I fit,
I am holding down,
A wonderful person

Chorus

It's gonna be a new world,
And I've got to adjust,
I'm breakin the world apart_________

Inspiration: None! lol! I don't really know. I just sang it.

wow what a great song (as usual!!) Hulie! I don't know how you'd put it to music but when I got to the chorus it was like a rock power ballad-lots of emotion and heartache with a touch of rock Cool

Yeah! We pretty much have the same taste in music! Well, actually, you showed me my taste cause I really only sang choir stuff (which I didn't like but it is good voice training). I never actually listened to music but then you sent me a Bon Jovi video! So, three cheers for Bon Jovi!

sunny yep! Pretty much! I will admit that there are like 3 songs i like from "today" but it's all really 70s and 80s. me too! I only did choir songs which is fine but gets monotonous after awhile. Same here: never listened to music really before, oh last summer or so. I hated the questions :"Whats your favorite song?" confused "Who's your favorite male singer?" confused "Who's your favorite female singer?" confused "who's your favorite band?" I NEVER had answers for those but NOW I do!!! Except narrowing down my favorite song to just one would be tough... lol!

oh yeah Dirty Little Secret-awesome song! I was at work earlier and it was almost time to leave and i had to hurry up and think and type ...O.M.G! I forgot Axl Rose (ok so yeah he was hot in the 80s--not at all now but in the 80s-could make me melt. LOL Today I heard Welcome to the Jungle on the way home but just the end...i was like "yeah!" and i turned it up. SLASH. that was the other guitar god i was trying to think of! jeebies...losing my mind. Guns n Roses is an awesome group just too bad they split-they really had something going. Axl just has a bad temper.
Today i watched "Do it for the Band: Girl sof the Sunset strip" (which is a real eye-opener of the REAL 80s) and the drummer from GNR was in some interviews and they were talking about drugs, etc.. in the 80s and he said "I may only 8 or 9 brain cells left but I had fun!" He had a stroke in like the 90s and he has a slight problem talking now. It's so sad but he has great spirit and he just had a great time in that show's interviews!
Bon Jovi's I'd die for you is on...*sigh* love it too...how can you not? lol
ok yeah...rambling again! Rolling Eyes Embarassed silent

oh yeah. I forgot to mention who Stevie Nicks is!
Stevie Nicks was the female singer from Fleetwood Mac who did some solo work too and her vocal range is amazing and just so good and makes the song sound...i dno magical, believable and like you wanna dance!
Some songs by her : Edge of Seventeen, Stop draggin my heart around (w/ tom petty) and stand back. there are tons more but only ones i can think of right now
one more thing and i promise i'll stop: if you haven't heard Jukebox hero by Foreigner yet-you REALLY NEED TO! Heard it on the way home and wow...gives you chills and makes you want to believe you can be a rockstar..i dno i just loved it!

Bon Jovi is awesome! And one of the things I like about them is the fact that they are stil together after all these years.
No you didn't but that's ok!
OH! I got a Led Zepplin video last night! Can't wait to watch it! Very Happy

thats very true! all members still together with the exception of John Alec Such in 1994 when he died...i dno what from. I think maybe a heart attack or something along that line. BUT Hugh MacDonald, th bass guitarist recorded with Bon jovi on their first album, was replaced by John Alec Such and then brought back into the band in 1994.
So there's a history lesson for the day boys and girls! LOL
You know, that is one band i don't know much about at all and would love to know more! Them and Jimi Hendrix. I don't know really anything about them except Led Zeppelin _Whole lotta love, kashmir and the lead singer is Robert Plant who is still alive and just did a duet CD with Allison Krauss. Jimi Hendrix _Purple haze, hey joe, died in 1970 from an overdose and was 27 years old and could play the guitar with his teeth. What a Face hey where did you find that video anyway?
