Yesterday, I went to volunteer at a center for kids who had been abused. It was more heartwreching than you can imagine. Here, you see little kids, no older than four of five, running outside on a playground. They look so cute and innocent, until they talk. The only vocabulary they know are the curses that fly from their parent's mouths while they are being beaten. These poor kids. I only wish I could do more to help them.
