Driver's License

Well, just post about your state driver's license laws. Mine are quite complicated so I'll just post a link.

But, do you think these are fair. Beneficial to the public? Is there something you wish they could change? Post it here.

For me it's quite simple. I agree with these laws, mostly because it might reduce the amount of teenagers getting into accidents. Also, the restrictions will help eliminate the problems they have like inexperience and distraction. It helps kids learn that driving is a very risky thing and should be taken seriously. You can be in a really bad situation just by wanting to go to the grocery store. I think that people should just take the precautions and that's exactly what this law is trying to make us do.

Well, in some states, rules are different. On the west coast, 16 is the age to get your DL. Here on the east coast, you have to wait until your 17.

Yup. It's the state law that regulates it. So, what are your state laws and what do you think of them?

You can get your permit at 16. Lisense at 17. Drive on the right side of the road. No texting while driving.
